Toyota FT86 Studio Photos

After last week’s official announcement from Toyota prior to the Tokyo Motor Show, further pictures have now been posted on the enthusiast forum ft86club.com.

Showing the FT-86 Concept being photographed in the studio we get a much better impression of the design and detailing of Toyota’s forthcoming sportscar.

Let’s hope the majority of it’s design reaches the final production model and that it drives as well as it looks. It will be interesting to see what the price range is in Europe and if it comes as a Toyota or Subaru, with doubt already hanging over it going to Australia as a Subaru could it fall down at the distribution stage ?.

I'll hold judgement till I see cibies sitting on it Who ever is at the wheel of Toyota Corp is doing well I like how all the cars are being designed and built. Maybe bringing back in some more high performance cars will help.

I like it, hope that styling stays. Toyota have gone so far downhill in the last 10 years it's unreal. The Gen 7 Celica was their last good looking car until this one is released. But they don't even have a good engine in the line up now either. The engine for this will be coming from Subaru. The links back to the AE86 are good, at least they're going in the right direction with how to go about thinking up a new coupe. Thankfully they didn't attempt to style it like the old Corolla, which was never a good looking car.
Still though, this and the Subaru, if the Subaru looks anything like as good as this, I'd be going for the Sub instead!
